Noob AR question...

I have an opportunity to buy a bushmaster AR (not sure exactly what model) with a Trijicon TA11 scope...
Used.

Any insight on such products? $2000 +tx for gun/scope...

Figgure out if it is real, IE grab the Serial # off the top of the eye piece and call Trijicon.

If it is a real Trijicon TA11 scope..... GET IT. GET IT. Even if you don't want the scope I am sureyou can find a buyer that will pay to make that bushmaster a sweet deal.

Does it change the equation if the AR is old Law Enforcement issue? Does that generally spell damaged goods?

Not necessarily. The Lower receiver shows little wear. The upper receiver is what takes the sh*t kicking. Being ex LE I'd say its not a home brew franken gun so it should be GTG.
