Noob help - SKS Magazine won't come out

I was following the sticky about how to field strip an SKS, but when I got up to the part where the magazine should pop out, it doesn't. Is there some kind of trick to it?
 
I found the first time coming out they are a little tough. Just making sure but the trigger group is out? If it is make sure the mag is open and try wiggling the mag a bit while lifting. Don't be afraid to use a little muscle.
 
yup, trigger group is out, no luck wiggling yet. With the trigger group out, are there any notches that would be holding it in? Also, is there a particular direction it needs to move in, or is straight out the bottom the way it's suppose to come out? Probably glued in with chunky cosmo
 
I had the exact same issue. Thats the thread that my tag line came from. I found that the pinning of the internal magazine doesn't allow the clasp to release fully which makes it even tougher. When all else fails refer to Andurps wise words in my tag line.

I struggled with mine for about 20 minutes one and felt soo foolish afterword it's not funny. If you haven't already done so, make sure the bolt is back in the open position or out completely, the magazine locks into the bolt when it is closed.
If your bolt is back/out already, then it's probably just hanging up on something and you just have to wiggle or smack it out.
