Hey folks, my name is Alex & I've been shooting for about 15 years (rentals, friends, etc), but decided to finally go out and get my license at the beginning of the year. I decided I wanted to bankrupt myself and get into long range precision shooting! Figured this forum would be a great way to meet people in the community.

So far I've participated in the Ontario Rifle Associations Intro Day, lined up an orientation at the Eagle Lake Gun Club(500 Yard Range), and started spending money on things I probably don't need lol.
I am also a photographer who specializes in motorsports, so I am planning on volunteering my services to the ORA and ELGC to cover some events throughout the year. I don't want to just shoot my gun at long ranges, I want to invest my time into a community and give back where I can! So if you participate in any ORA events, there's a strong chance you'll see me there holding my camera rather than my rifle.

If you're a member at the Eagle Lake Gun Club or part of the ORA, hit me up!

In the meantime, here's a shot of my first and only rifle.

Tikka T3X CTR - 6.5CM - 20" Barrel
KRG X-Ray Chassis
Vortex Venom 5-25x
MDT Oryx Bipod (Soon to be replaced with an Atlas, please don't go on strike Canada Post....)

Research the Operational Shooting Association and events at Milcun Shooting Complex north and east of Toronto. Two of the finest long range competitors and coaches run that range. They do not suffer fools and expect shooters to show proficiency or willingness to learn the requirements.

And, welcome!

Thanks for pointing me in their direction! I swear I've researched every place possible but I did not come across OSA. I've heard of Milcun before, and seen that the ORA goes there a few times a year, I'll probably join them for one of the events to check it out.
