Noob question on Rifled slugs in rilfed barrels

I have a buddy that wants to hunt tomorrow morning, and all stores are closed. He has a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun with a rifled barrel, and he has no slugs.

I have Rottweil Exact slugs, 2&3/4 rifled slugs.

Can he shoot these rifled slugs through a rifled barrel?

I can't find any info on these slugs online, other than the typical marketing stuff. I would normally just get him to get some regular slugs, but time is an issue. 4am is fast approaching!

yes... absolutely.... but he wont get the benefits of a rifled barrel....
