I'm not an expert, but things I've read suggest accuracy encompasses ALL facits of loading.
But the common factors are (assuming rifle round here): seating the bullet so it's near the lands of the rifling so it does not have to travel far to reach the rifling and then working on the powder.
Seating this way is supposed to give consistent results and I believe is favoured over crimping by the bench crowd.
Work with the powder/ powder charge first. Working up in about .2 gr increments. You will find the sweet spot were you will get the best groups, watch for pressure signs.
Once you have found the right charge/smallest group, then work on seating. Some rifle/bullet combinations like to be seated into the lands, some may like to jump as far out as .050".
The caliber is .223 using CCI primers in Winchester brass, Varget powder and 68 gr. HPBT Hornady match bullets. Will be starting at 25.5 gr and working up in .3 gr increments. Thanks,
