i own a few handguns as a collector, only because the nearest gun club is....2hrs away..
my uncle invited me to his placed and wants to go to his gun club...is it possible to get a one time ATT to take my gun to the gun club we will be going to?

Your ATT if your acquisitions have been made for the purpose of target shooting/sport allows you to travel to any club, taking the most direct route.

i don't think they issue short term ATT's unless you have a LTATT, and in order to obtain a LTATT you must be a member of an approved club/range. here in BC at least.

If the club is within BC and you have a long term ATT that states that you can take it to and from any approved range for the purpose of target shooting taking the most direct route, then yes you can take it to whomevers place. Just it becomes a temporary "resident". If you do not have a long term ATT then get one, but if you don't then yes you would have to get a short term ATT to the range and to your uncles but you may as well just request a long term ATT it would take the same ammount of time to get.

If your uncle has an ATT for that club, he can call the CFO and get an ATT to take YOUR guns to the club but the CFO will not give you an ATT since you are not a member. (I have done this before for someone)
