so yes i should know this but i am having a complete brain fart moment here haha.

Im getting set to place an order for anotehr S&B, goin to get the pmII 5-25 with the H59 retical, which is a mil bassed retical just like the h37 or h58, i can get 1/4moa, cm, or Mrad turrets. Mrad ajusts in .1 so is mrad just another way of sayin .1 MIl adjustments?

Yes. 1cm @ 100 meters is also 0.1 mil, but kind of a poor way of expressing it since it encourages the user to think in terms of linear movements instead of angular ones and creates the false notion that the scope is metric.

so im correct in thinking to match my turrets to retical, i will want to get the mrad adjustments? as .1mrad = .34MOA, so 1 "mrad" would be 3.4MOA = damn close to 1 mil.. correct? pretty sure i cant shoot with in 1/10th" any way haha

sure is easier to figure out how to match an MOA retical to MOA turrets hahaha

"mil" is short for "milliradian".

"milliradian" means a 1-in-1000 angle (which you already know).

"Mrad" is an abbreviation for "milliradiian"

"mil" is "Mrad" is "milliradian".

Thanks rnbra! That's exactly what I needed to know / confirm , I can't recal ever seeing a mil retical with the turrets marked mrad, iv always seen them marked as mil , just wanted to make sure I wasn't being a complete moron about this befor I drop that kinda $ on a scope haha
