before I take this rifle to the range , what changes or parts should I get to have the rifle shoot better? I dont wanna have a jammo matic and from what Ive been reading that is a problem and be turned off on the whole rifle. Thanks In Advance.

- Back up sight either fixed or folding.
- Optic within your price range.

And as before, lots of ammo and mags.

Shoot the thing until you get to know it, then worry about upgrades later on.

And have fun.

Put 500 rounds down range first before you change anything, you need to establish a baseline so you know difference if any when you start changing things.

Best upgrade for a Norinco 10inch would be to get the 14.5inch barrel.

Other than that, proper lubrication before use and the weapon will fire just fine. You might want to also go over the rifle and double check the tightness of the screws/nuts etc. it only took mine 400rds to loosen the castle nut enough that the buffer tube and stock were begining to move around a lot

The exreactor spring seems to a problem in many Nork 10.5s that I have read about. Get the little black bumper spring booster thingy (sorry, the correct term escapes me) and install that with the extractor spring.

No, you're right. Thats the actual name of the part in the manual.

True story.

Get a spray can of decent lube (G96, CLP, etc.) 1,000 rounds of decent 223, and some extra mags. Take a whole day, go to the range and play with it. Odds are all you'll have problems with is; 1) you'll run out of ammo long before you're ready and 2) you'll have a stupid grin on your face. If while shooting it starts to feel rough, spray the lube into the e-port, shake the gun and keep shooting.

Isn't it funny how the norc bashers all seem to own expensive ####? ...guess I'd be sour if I had dropped 2-4times the price on something else!
My 10.5 has run like a top since new......amazing?? No I owned 7 other norcs, one had an issue, it was a norc taco $199 I now own a ruski taco ...$169

As mentioned above, the most common issue with the latest batch of 10.5" Norc's is failure to eject the empty brass, causing a round to feed under the empty brass and jamming up.
This is caused by the incorrect extractor spring being installed at the factory.
Take out the bolt and remove the extractor. If the extractor has only a spring (with no rubber insert), it means that a "heavy duty" spring has been installed. This is what causes the failure to eject the fired brass.
Install the proper "milspec" spring and rubber insert and the rifle will function just fine.
My belief is that the installed "heavy duty" spring sets up some sort of harmonic vibration or bounce that causes the extractor to release the fired brass too soon before the ejector pin has a chance to do its job and throw out the brass.
I also installed a #60 rubber O ring over the extractor spring assembly, which is a common fix for other brand short barrelled AR extractor issues.
Apart from that, accessorize the crap out it. Those little #####es love it. :D
