Norc 1911 45 Super

I've been using mostly 230gn cast round nose as it's been very reliable. Was previously working with 230gn cast TC but found feeding was unreliable. Deeper seating and PC may help with feeding but don't really wanna go under coal of 1.2". Wonder if a RN bullet would be more likely to glance off a bears skull more so than a bullet with a flat.

Flat nose for the punch. Ive tested on swine quite a bit. RN are like FMJ and if you miss the sweet spot they just punch a pretty hole

I ordered some super brass and it showed up yesterday. Im hoping to cast some 200's today and give it a try.
Has anyone tryed the 255 rfn with longshot?

Use a Norc for a drop in 460 Rowland kit I got from Clarke.
