Norc 1911 beavertail

Hi Guys,


Anybody know the radius used on the beavertail safety equipped Norcs? Anybody succesfully swapped it out for aftermarket parts? If so, which ones?

You're in for some significant carving and shaping my friend. No such thing as a "drop in" beaver tail in my opinion. That is a hand fitted part.

granted - was wondering if it is a .250 radius, .220 radius, etc.

I'm not afraid of the work, I transplanted a grip safety from one of my beavertail equipped Norincos to my non beavertail equipped Norc, fitted it myself. Basically I'm looking for a good replacement for the donor gun. I'd like to keep same-ish as to what was there but go with a stainless one.
