Norc 1911 dovetail on .45 vs 9mm (np29)

Hi all.
Picked up a norinco 1911 9mm (np29). Pretty much identical to my norinco 1911 a1. Want to replace the cheap sights with Truglo ones but one differences I noticed in comparison to my norinco .45 are the dovetails. They are in different locations on both.

The 9mm dovetails are further apart on the slide (front and back) vs the .45. if I get truglo sights they might hang over the edge of the slide?.

Trying to understand what type of rear sight I should look for now? A truglo or hiviz, even the one I have on my .45 would hang over the back of the slide

Ganderite has swapped out many sights on Norinco's...Give him a PM if he doesn't respond here. He's the guy who I would say is the authority on swapping out Nork sights, what works and, more importantly, what doesn't.

Yoou would have to have either slide milled for Novak dovetails to use either the Truglo or HIVIZ sights.
