Norc CQ-A Stocks Mil Spec or Commerical?

I am looking to replace the stock on my CQ-A with a Magpul MOE and was wondering if it was commerical or milspec?

Mine was commercial, I ended up buying a milspec one from Wolverine Supplies so I could mount my Moe.

Norc CQ-A's are all commercial, for the best fit you can change the receiver extension over to Milspec - stocks seem to fit and work better on milspec extensions. It simply threads on, the same as the one that is on now.

I just bought a Magpul CTR stock from a member here and was asked if it was milspec or commercial. It was milspec. What I am wondering is why did they make two different tubes? Was one cheaper or was it for some kind of legal reason?

Just cheaper, the commercial tube is essentially an off the shelf pipe size, while the milspec has to be made - a true milspec extension requires some production equipment.
