I have the CQA and a Vortex Sparc. Also run a magpul MBUS just in case of failure. I would like to put on the VMX3 (or other magnifier) with swing mount, but would like some opinions on this.

First, is there enough room on the rail (took off the handle) between the MBUS and the SPARC to fit the magnifier's swing mount? I have the site as far back as possible and the SPARC as far forward as possible.

Second, if anyone has this setup, can you swing the vortex mount over the MBUS without hitting it?

I don't see why you couldn't... the Vortex Sparc is pretty small and you'll see much bigger optics with magnifiers
