Norc CQA furniture

My friend says most parts he tried have fit. If any modifications were needed, a tiny bit of filing was all it took.
It's a crap shoot when it comes to furniture for the Norc CQA.
I bought mine last year and bought the following:
Magpul Buttstock - Fit perfectly, no issues. Only thing was it's commercial spec where as most AR's are mil spec so just make sure you buy the right one
Magpul Grip- Install was easy but the depth for the safety pin in the stock grip is different vs the Magpul. After install the safety is really tight but seems to have self corrected now and is better. Other solution would have been to drill into the new grip to change the depth for the pin.
Magpul Handguard - Oh man this one was a doozy. If you search, there are threads on here talking about it. Some people had no issues with fit, some people had major issues. I had to bring the handguard to a gunsmith for them to dremel it down but the gunsmith was lazy and didn't dremel it enough to have it look all nice and fitted. Instead, he just dremelled it enough so that it fit.

It also varies from batch to batch. Older ones were apparently dookie for compatibility with parts.

Your main issue is the Norinco CQA uses a commercial buffer tube whereas the CC/Diemaco is a mil-spec (commercial is larger in diameter). A butt stock made for a commercial buffer tube shouldn't give you any problems.
