Norc Flash Hider !

in any rifle , vibrations caused by loose fitting parts WILL affect repeatable accuracy.... the m14 is not immune to this.
tightening the gas assembly is one of the first steps to accurizing the m14 action. next would be timeing the oprod/oprod guide so it is true with the gas piston.

anyhow... the flash hider..... once it has been removed the first time, a careful clean up of the spot welds with a dremel and the flash hide should be able to slide back on and is fastened the same way it was before it was removed..... just without the useless welds.
these welds were originally installed as per U.S. import specification back several years ago and are NOT required for safe function.

Ok, thanks! The welds were throwing me off and I wasn't sure if the FS needed to be welded back on. Is there a how-to on flipping the gas lock, or is it as simple as flipping it?
