Norc front sight

Hey guys. In all my greatness I went to strip the finish off my norc 1911 and decided to remove the sights off of the slide. Well the rear came of fine but when I did the front my punch slipped and the top of the sight absorbed the impact and broke. So now I am in need of a new front sight. Do you know if they are all straight fit or is modding required in some cases? Any to recommend? It's dovetail by the way
 
Check with Marstar and North Silva iirc, maybe CanAm also. They're 3 of the highest volume movers of Norc in the country. One of them for sure has a front sight kicking around. Touch the dovetail on the slide with a bit of emery cloth to remove any burrs and the new front sight. The new one should be ' press fit ' tight, not sledge hammer tight. Adjust as necessary and you're gtg.
 
Well Canada ammo don't have anything listed on their website and marstar don't have em and North Silva wouldn't even look for me. They told me to go back to Canada ammo. So Ganderite I sent you a pm.
