Norc M-93

Bought mine from Lever in 2004.

POS due to failures to extract and feed plus it bump fired. After a trip to my gunsmith it's a little better, doesn't bump feed but still fails to extract once every magazine.

Other guys have had great success with theirs so maybe I got a lemon. Lever does not warrantee their Norinco products. If you want to buy one, get it from Marstar with their superior guarantee,

I also have other Norinco products that are incredibly reliable eg. NP-29, SKS, HP9-1. I am not a Norinco basher.

Mine goes keeps working and working and working, I think I am around 7,000 rds. I suspect most people problems are the mag lips which are flimsy.

I have two, my buddy Al has two, and another firend has one as well. They all work fairly well, one has been smoothed over by Gunnar at Armco, makes the trigger a lot more bearable. Accurate enough to plink 2 L pop bottles at 50 meters, repeatedly. Don't know what more you can ask for what they cost. - dan.

mine's like a freakin timex- the old kind that doesn't need batteries-most of my ftfs are bad ammo- i still burn the cheap stuff-just keeps on tickin, but i haven't taken it fully to pieces yet either- probably won't or shouldn't

They are quite small and the rear sight on the one I had was loose and flimsy looking....there is a small set screw that did not seem very sturdy.
I returned mine and I'm saving another couple hundred bucks for a Ruger.

I thought about getting the receiver cut with 3/8" dovetails so I could mount a red dot like this,

But I don't have access to the tools required.

For those that own the M-93:

Can you get extra mags from marstar? And how much mags come with the gun when you buy it from them?

marstar - only ships 1 mag with their pistols and typically the other is about 40 bucks- lever ships 2, so the prices pretty well even out-howver marstar has that iron-clad guarentee- if ANYTHING happens in the first year, they'll take care of it- with lever , you may be screwed
