Norc M14 stock butt pad

Perhaps you can elaborate? Is there a specific one to get? I'm looking for a 1" pad. Is there much modification since the butt isn't flush and there's a notch at the top.

I got mine from fab sports....around $35 delivered....it is an inch thicker so the original bottom screw( goes through bottom swivel) will not work ....the thread on the screw is a fine thread (weird size) so good luck trying to find a longer screw with that thread....i got another bolt and rethreaded the swivel threads to match it....I also ground down the head of the bolt and cut a notch in it so a flat tip screwdriver could tighten it....i dabbed some paint on the head of the bolt after grinding it down and cutting the notch....Overall it was an easy fix

This is the butt pad fabsports sells....sorry no pics of the bolt work....but it is really easy to do....I took a grinder to the head of the bolt to make it round and smaller in diameter so it would fit into the hole on the buttpad....and then I took a hacksaw to the top of the bolt so a screwdriver would fit in the slot to tighten the bolt....if you are stuck pm me and I will take it apart and take some pics....dont forget to paint the head of the bolt as it will need some after grinding and cutting the notch for the flat tipped screwdriver

Awesome! Great instructions! I'll stick one of those on my chu wood stock untill I get a synthetic USGI. Btw, why does everyone hate the chu wood so much? I don't mind it. if anything it's a good starter stock to try modifications on.
When did you buy the pad from fabsports? Doesn't look like they carry them anymore, atleast its not on their site.
