Curious about the reliability/durability of Norc NP-20, the one using the delayed blowback system. For the money seem like a fantastic deal ($229) but if it lasts only for a 1000 rounds, then I wouldn't bother. I know there are some posts on this forum but they seem to have died a while ago. I hope some who bought them had a chance to use and abuse them (for the money it doesn't seem a like a terrible thing to do). I am looking for a basic 9mm plinker, but one which won't make me have to pull its slide out of my teeth after so many rounds.

Will last much more than 1k rounds. My M77B has many thousands of rounds through it. Never jams, always hits where it is aimed. These guns are built tough!

Dar_701, how is the ergonomics? Does it sit comfortable in your hand? I saw some reports of loooooong trigger creep

no other comments....wow.....such inexpensive, seemingly tough pistol and no one owns one.....at $200 a piece....oh well. I will just dive in head first and get one of them and see for myself.

I shot a 77B at the range that my friend brought. Long term? I don't know. But they are extremely well built. The plastic is 'okay.' For the price, it is a hell of a pistol, but they are kind of big and bulky. I think the 9mm Tokarevs are a good buy too. In both cases, it is better to save up for a .....NP22 or NZ85. You will appreciate their controls over either the 77B/20 or a Tokarev.

I removed the magazine disconnect safety on mine, that lightened up the trigger pull and reduced the creep. The pistol has a short reset on the trigger and that is what I use when I shoot it rather than pulling the full length each time. Ergonomics are decent, the safety is a bit hard to disengage. The plastic grips are a bit brittle. The pistol is quite accurate. I paid 125 for it, came with 5 magazines. The previous owner had put 100 rounds through it and did not like the recoil. With the gas retard system there is very little muzzle flip, all the recoil is into the web of you hand straight back. I prefer this kind of recoil, but a lot of people do not.
