This is the Driving range i use . The snow pile on the Right is the 650M mark.
there is a bit of a dip behind it then the terrain comes up again and goes way back .....the road is one way in lease operator comes in to check early morning 4 the day ...

If a person does do the shoot it would not be anything fancy. No prizes on entry fee just a good time. Need feed back if a person would attend.

I would definitely still attend regardless of prizes, conditions or weather. I, like most people I'm sure, would just be happy to come out and shoot.

I would be interested as well as long as I am not working. Sounds like fun, practice is always good. How far can we shoot 1000 +?"

Depends upon the date - but, if I can attend, can bring some steel targets as well, and stands...
(Steve - Will your plates hang on Hughies old stands?)
And maybe the new hi-tech spotting system - if its working.....

Who's bringing the moose sausage or deer smokies?? A day to get there, 2 days of shooting, a day to drive back, I wonder if she'd miss me? Any bears around there? Tenting is my only option.
Depending on the date, that it does not conflict with dates of other competions I'm not suppose to shoot at. I promised I would built a house before I did anymore shooting outings. A guy should not do those kind of promisses. I am getting material ready for a shoot, late 2011 or early 2012. I wish I lived closer to a cheap steel supply!!
Have fun!

there is a pretty big grassy area to park on just infront of the logs( thinking 2 acers) and past the logs if we had too( want to keep this for 100m zero finder).
i took the pic from the fire pit
just got to wait for it to dry out.... if its dry any vehicle can get in,, but if it rains u`d wish u had a 4x4 it about 10km off the main road, the shooting lane faces north west.....:)
oh!!! did i mention the skeetoes are the size of heliocopterz...:D

i just set up at 100,,,,650 and 1200...

Well I'm sure there would be a plethora of calibers present so it would be nice if everyone had the option to stretch their rifles out to their extremes. How about if we had a plate or two around 800 and 1000 and for the larger magnums out past 1200 somewhere. Is it possible to shoot out to 1500+? I'm sure the 338 Lapua shooters would love that! Any 50 BMGs among us? I'm getting excited!!
