But the only to shave weight with the Nordic is either a CFW or Tac Sol aluminum barrel.
This was one I used to own.
Nordic chassis,walnut blasted and clear cerecote with a silver Tac-Sol barrel.
Accurate as Fu#k.

From things I have heard Crazy Ivan is battling cancer, so any of his stuff is going to be hard to come by. There is one supplier in Canada that carries some of his stock, but not much. I think I got lucky and got one of his last ones from the US. It is crazy light, but expensive.
So I ordered one the day after I posted I think right from the website. You're correct, he did pass unfortunately. His wife and son however are supposed to be continuing on with the company. Mine made it across the border to my door in about 6 Days. Really nice piece, excited to do the build. The only down side is that you can pretty much only use the stock receiver or the Brownells BRN-22 receiver but they are discontinued. I wanted to find a newere ruger take off reciever, but I have had zero luck so far. Same with a barrel, tough finding anything in the 12-16 inch range right now.
