I have heard that these can wear pretty fast (was told after 300 rounds, said owner had issues with it breaking and other things)

Is it worth putting my money in to buy?

I plan on plinking with it, and taking it into the bush. I want a shotgun, and preferably 14". I could buy a Remmy 18.5" but as stated, 14" is the preference.

Is there an issue with buying a Norinco shotgun?

Thanks

Yes after 300rds my "Ejector Spring" shattered in 2 places ( still ejected ). The bead was crooked and blew off within the first few shots. I recieved the shotgun, The action was seezed and required some force to open the action. Later on I bent the action bars. Diddn't like the redish purple park/blued job. Finish was rough. Let go of the pump and fired it would blow the bolt to the rear.

Other then that. It shot, was accurate could get slugs to touch each other at 25m. Fired 3" with only some problems. I bet if I still had it, it would still feed whatever I fed it. Used any 870 accessories. I had a side saddle, Ghost Ring Sights, +1 ext.

WHAT I'm saying, WAS crap in my mind, But could not break it. Would work no matter what.

I have an HP9-1 and have several hundred rounds through it (abt 75 slugs). No problems yet. The bead is crooked, but who cares, it's line of sight aim anyway. I had the barrel ported to tone down the recoil from the slugs and it worked great. All said and done, it is a fine door kicker for the money. If it breaks, you folks will be the first to know!

I have a HP9, fired lost of slugs, 00 buck, and shot both lead and steel, well over 300 rds fired, no problems except the bead that disapeared while shooting skeet  but thats another story.

i also have never had any problem with mine and i have fired well over 500 rounds easy :D :D :D

Do you really need a bead on a 14" barrel?
For the price I'll be picking up one of these - neat little gun. I like the Rem 870 Marine Magnum (18" bbl), but it's twice the price, so...
Hello, Marstar!
Hey, those YL-1JZ Tacticals are damn cool! 8) Are they prohibited?

So is the 14" Norc a good deal or not?

Yes they are! I had one for almost a year. Worked really well, was fun to shoot. Only reason I sold it was to pay some bills. Kinda miss it now, might pick one up when Marstar gets another load in.

I kick the #### out of mine. Slugs , Buck you name it It works. no issues. and if it does so what. Off to the smith it goes. Any shotgun can break. I heard of 870s and 590s breaking. #### happens. Its a great gun if you are looking for a legal 14"

Mine is a piece of ####, I conned some guy from the bored into buying it.

Just kidding.
I've never had any issues at all with mine. Works flawlessly, eats everything. Never jammed, never failed to feed, never failed to eject.

Heavy little bastard though.

I have a friend who bought a Win Super X2 semi in the spring and it broke on him and he has had a ##### of a time trying to get it serviced by Browning. Compared to what he paid for it, I'd grab a couple of Norincos, plus a really good escort...
