John, in regards to a 1897 trench ( im guessing the OP mis spelled the 1887 ). Have you looked at IAC's products?

I'd take either and I wonder if something made in the states would get here just a wee bit quicker.

Thanks for that link to IAC, I have always wanted to get the WW1 Trench gun and I never knew about these reproduction models. All I hoped for was for Winchester to come out with the Model 12.
