Norinco 1897--Any good for Cowboy Shooting ?

Thinking about getting one .Are they dependable or trouble ?

I use one for Cowboy Action.

It does the job but it may not be as smooth as an old Winchester model.

I chose a '97 as I am unfamiliar with doubles, and I would be faster with the pump.

I have had one for a year now and use it and abuse it. It is very dependable
I also like the sear disconnect like the original.
You wont go wrong.
