Yeah the reality is that for the price I’d rather have an 870. Or for fair comparison, a Chinese 870 clone for 200 less.

These are terrible. For nearly the same price you can buy an authentic 1897 which will serve you far better. These are junk in every sense of the word.

I'm fairly certain that the manufacturer calls them "Trench gun" - so the dealer is likely listing it as its labeled by the manufacturer.

I've got one and I'm happy with it.
