norinco 1911 45 acp compensator?

I have been looking for parts/upgrades for a norinco 1911 45 acp and i stumbled on to a norinco 1911 45 acp compensator/muzzelbreak was wondering if they are legal in canada or not and where a guy could buy one...

^ yes they are legal. I had one on a TT-33 I bought here.

They are legal and I have one for my 1911 but compensators don't usually work well on .45auto because they are such a low pressure cartridge. The small amount of recoil reduction you will feel is more from the added weight on the muzzle than the actual muzzle break. Either way it looks cool and does help a little (not that there is much recoil in a 45 anyway).
I'm not sure who would carry them in Canada but Questar would probably be the first place I would check for an item like that.

As already said, yes they are legal. I had one just like it.
I really did not notice any reduction in the recoil as they rely on burning gas going up the vents
to work . A .45ACP does not generate that much power.

IMO, save your money for something else.
