Norinco 1911 Ambi thumb safety ?

Anyone know how to remove this? I never tried removing an ambi thumb safety before. I was detail stripping and cleaing my Canada Ammo blued norc today, but got stuck there.

Got the slide all detail cleaned though. The finish looks really nice once its cleaned.

The right side grip has to be removed, the left safety side removed first, then the right side can be turned down far enough to clear the hammer pin. which is anchoring it.
