Norinco 1911 sight replacement

I want to install taller sights on my norcs. Who makes the taller National Match style sights to fit the factory dovetail and narrow tenon hole? Any pictures of installed sets would help. TIA
 
'rincos are made of very hard steel and mine have not taken well to replacement sights that are staked in. I have lost several sights by watching them go down range. Find a good gunsmith and have him/her install a new sight using a dovetail. Regards, Richard:D
 
I like Norincos but I don't like the sights of Norinco's. It is a hard decision to spend 150 dollar on a 300 dollar gun.
 
I used Brownells 584 003 345, MGW plain post, plain black, narrow tenon front, rear combo. Retail is $30.06.
 
cwlam3, it isn't a hard decision when you ask yourself: "Where else am I going to find a pistol of this quality for $300 (CA)?" Hell, I did spend $275 for night sights for one of my Makarovs but it is a gem. Before upgrades this Bulgarian Makarove cost me $150 (US). Tell me what you think? Regards, Richard:D

Hitzy - Are you still shooting your Norc NP-29 converted to .38 Super? If so, did you replace the stock sites or not?

Factory sights still on it......working on getting something a little more visable.:)

I think I'm going to go with Tiriaq's set from Brownells, hard to beat for the price.

Off a bench I can keep all shots inside a paper plate at 25 yards. I think that is damned good for a compact pistol. Regards, Richard:D
