Has anyone or does anyone use an Advantage arms 1911 conversion kit with a Norinco version? According to the AA site, they say the kit will work with any 1911 made to Mil Specs. I can't seem to find that info about the Norinco. I am considering my first pistol, and one thing I am sure, is that I want it to be able to shoot 22. I considered getting a separate 22, but would prefer to get trigger time with the bigger cal gun. Any experiences would be most appreciated. Of course, the Glock is another way to go, I have not decided. Price, reliability etc all considerations for me.

Thanks for any help in advance.

I run a Kimber 22LR conversion slide on a Norinco 9mm frame. Fits fine, although you may have to widen the extractor slot slightly with a hobby file to prevent binding.

I've never had any problems running several different conversions on Norinco 1911's
I ran a GSG kit in my Nork 1911 for an afternoon, functioned fine, no jams or stove-pipes, but no accuracy either; went home, advertised it and sold it the same day. LOL Mine is amazing with 200 gr SWC ammo.

I have run a Adv. kit in a norinco, worked fine, but never really seen the point , you can / could buy a good, better 22 pistol for the money and just keep the 1911 the way it is suppose to be ,ie 45cal.
Any GSG kit I seen shot like a shotgun pattern, unless they where redone with $$$$

I've never tried the GSG pistol or conversion, Kimber and a Nighthawk Custom Bob Marvel conversion is all I've tried both on Norinco frames.
