Thanks I appreciate all of your input. I can undertand if they are really busy and there being a postal strike or the CFO taking their sweet ass time with the transfer etc. Im generally pretty patient as long as I am informed of the situation. I hate not knowing what is going on. I just got a PM saying they are going to look into it so hopefully it all goes well.

x2 --- 2 months of trying = nothing but delays and bad experience AND THERE WAS NO POSTAL STRIKE at the time....
x100 (not months but frustration)

I also spent 2 months waiting for an order, which of course I was billed for immediately (luckily the move, etc didn't seem to interfere with their charging process:rolleyes:)

After e-mailing, texting, PMing and calling (where I was told various things from "it must have been sent already" to "I'll send it tomorrow" to finally being told by their Manager(?) that they hadn't sent it because they didn't have one in stock!) I cancelled my order, only to be to told what an impatient prick I was! I guess I was supposed to be happy that I finally got a response?

And I'm afraid that the whole "they moved and got inspected" bullsh1t just doesn't wash. If you can't meet your orders, then stop taking them or at the VERY least, stop taking the payments!

While I understand that some folks have gotten good service from Badger, there's all too many people I hear about having nightmarish experiences with them for it to 'isolated' cases.

So epic, good luck..and I hope you get better service than I did, cause I can't believe it could be any worse.

P.S. I tried to not post anything about this, honest...but I keep seeing the same postings over and over about Badger's service (or lack of) and couldn't restrain myself

I tried to restrain myself as well , as you can see I have only done a few posts so I choose my opinions carefully.
But here's the thing - people and businesses make mistakes from time to time and patients and understanding go along way BUT the difference between a good business and TERRIBLE ones are the good ones will try to make things right and EARN a customer and there $$ and were as my experience was the same as Derwood's -very bad - and as he pointed out -- "to be to told what an impatient prick I was!" <- that there is why I have posted here

And just to point out this was far before the move and postal strike there was no good excuse for this

Epic , you started this for answers and possibly advice - we have gone as far as offered personal experience both good and bad -- think about this - if you were going to buy a pistol and the reviews on that pistol were kinda 50/50 or for that matter even giving the benefit of the doubt and say 20/80 - would you still go ahead and buy it ??? same should apply for businesses

YES-Really! I absolutely have no frickin reason to make this stuff up!
Look where you're from- Saskatchewan. I'm almost 99.9% sure all folks from Saskatchewan who's ever ordered from Badger got superb service.
Again- look at the stats! Most, if not all, orders that are placed either through online means or by phone are the ones getting messed up the most.
These are FACTS not made up customer experiences.

really? That sounds odd to me.i've bought 13 guns and tons of ammo from them since they bannered on cgn.the 1st gun armand delivered personally because there was a mix up with my att.since then badger has been my go to shop.shop around you can't beat badger's prices.that's been my experience anyway

The problem is the way they take online and phone orders! Once they get all your info...they don't provide you with some kind of "order number" or "invoice number". What kind of system is that? How the heck are you suppose to track or refer to your order? Seriously!

No, I am not associated with Mr. Badger!

This thread wasn't created to ##### and complain. It was created to get a response from Badger arms about my order

Why doesn't someone put up a post with a meter asking if you were satisfied or unsatisfied with your service from Badger Arms. One vote per member...

I cant be the only real member who has had a positive Experience dealing with badger. Yes they are not the fastest but there prices are almost always the lowest and there staff is always poilte, Plus i usualy always get a reply within the day i send an email. I am not puting anyone down but i have to assume there are more satisfied customers out there.

FWIW, I have had a great experience ordering a SVT40 from Badger. I hope they get back to you and make you a happy customer! It is SO frustrating to finally make the decision on a gun and then have to wait, those two weeks waiting are like 2 years of normal time...

Bought a pistol from Armand last fall, everything went smooth. Been told that the transfer in Sask could take longer than ours here in Manitoba, but within in a week the pistol was delivered to my door. Think everyone needs to RELAX ! Been in the service industry for nearly 20 years, owner operator for the last 10 and in my experience the people who do all the whining and complaining are people who have never had the guts to go out on their own, open a business, roll the dice and try to make a living. Badger Arms " SALUTE" ! You will continue to get my business, and if it takes a little longer, or few days in between email......oh well, life goes on !

Pffff! I don't care to open a business- yet alone a gun shop. All I want is to be treated fairly and not lied to and jerked around! Nice try bud! :jerkit:

This is exactly why I didn't post anything about the poor customer service I received from badger. Cause I knew there'd be the "oh you must be a whiner" replies. I don't post after you saying that you're a kiss-ass, so why can't I get the same respect?

All I know is that I had got terrible service. Plain and simple. I'm sure there are people who had better service, but my point was that if badger is so wonderful, how come everytime I come on here I see the same post ("...ordered a 2 months ago and have sent e-mails etc and gotten no response...") from different individuals?

I don't see this same recurring theme from customers of other stores, why is that?
