Wow. Great job CanadaAmmo! Ordered last Friday, picked up at Post Office today. I am impressed with the service. Did a complete teardown. The 1911 is all cleaned of packing grease, lightly oiled, reassembled and ready for the range. Wasn't expecting it, but not only did it come with an extra mag, cleaning rod and brush, there was also an extra set of rubber grips, a pen in the form of an AR, copy of Calibre magazine, and about 25 paper targets.
CanadaAmmo will be getting future orders from me. Still need a .22 and a 9mm.

I'm a bit new to the 1911. I had my 1911A1 apart and my friend said that it was a 70's series clone (which is good) it doesn't have a firing pin safety that the new models have. Also the firing pin is more robust than some American manufacturers.
I buffed the slide completely smooth as the machine marks were kinda unsightly. I then blasted and Cerekoted it Armor Black. It looks beautiful.
No mods to the trigger and it has very crisp break. Pretty impressed with the Norc 1911!
If only they could get surplus .45 again

I ordered one at 10pm eastern last night. Confirmed my order was sent to shipping dept at 3pm today.
I don't know what type of sorcery they practice to get the thing transferred so quickly.

Confirmed. Knock on wood, it seems transfers have just been getting faster and faster. Last year I bought an SR9 from a fellow member, and it was complete in under 24 hours as well. Bought a P762 from CanAm late on Friday, transfer started yesterday, and again, less than 24 hours later, complete.

I also have this great experience with ATTs; when I moved this winter, the guy gave me the ATT number over the phone and said I was good to go if I just kept that on hand.

Damn, I wish mine came with a book. I bought from another dealer though.

As you command!

I know it looks a bit guido with the burnt bronze accents but I like it. Also I just got black pearl grips for it and it looks even a bit more "Jersy Shore"
Oh well its my first 1911, Ill probably try some new color schemes in the future.

I don't have a range membership as of yet. can I still order?

If you are in the process of getting one CanAm has been willing in the past to take your money and make one yours and hold it until all the necessary paperwork and legalities are in place. Either put it in the comments of the order or (better yet) phone them to arrange it.
