Norinco 1911's

I actually just had to replace mine due to some major jamming issues caused by a poorly fit barrel, as far as I can tell. From what I hear they are a decent base for a build. Kinda like an 1980's era Chevy Monte Carlo or Malibu.

Love mine. Slowly been adding parts here and there as an ongoing build. Shoots well, no feed issues and from what I've heard is built from GI blueprints so anything that fits a Colt will fit it.

Find someone close to you that has one and try it out. Only way you will get the answers you are looking for truly.

I've got 2 of the 2 color police ones from about 5 years ago, still stock, they run flawlessly.

I've got one of the new non labelled ones too, runs flawless.

Comparing them to my $700 ruger or my $1000 Kimber they are just ruffer fit and finish and a bit heavier.

Nothing wrong with them.
For the money they cost they are a win.

I had two 1911a1's, sold one - the 2nd came with cracked grips. Put on an operator black diamond set. This pistol shoots flawlessly, and for 300.00 .....

Bought mine used, unknown round count.I've put about 1500 through it myself.Never had any failures in that time.It goes bang everytime I pull the trigger and is more accurate than I am.Only thing I've done is change out the rear sight as it was hitting really low for me.That may be more of an issue of my astigmatism than the gun since it seems I have to do that with every pistol I buy.If you want a pretty gun skip the Nork.If you want something reliable to put lead down range cheap it's hard to beat.
