Norinco 201C Gouging up me brass?

I've got an "improved tokarev" from norinco, everytime I fire, it leaves an indented gouge mark near the case mouth. It's hitting something when being ejected.

When I cycle the gun slowly, there's nothing wrong.

Any ideas?

The brass is likely doing a full 360 and striking the Ejection port mouth or side of the slide slightly to the rear of the ejection opening......

I agree with gunasaurus. If you're handy with a file, you might try adjusting the ejector length a bit (just a bit!) and/or shaving down the rear of ejector port. I had a Norinco .45 that did the same thing but was cured by the preceeding fixes. I've noticed that hot ammo can make things worse as well.
