Hey guys,

CanadaAmmo has a nice deal right now, Glock 21 Gen4 with 1000 rounds of Norinco .45 ACP 230gr FMJ for $949.00

The ammo is listed as non-corrosive so not even really worried if it were but what's the dependability and accuracy of this ammo? I've shot thousands of 9mm rounds though my Glock 17, mostly American Eagle with never any issues.

Anyone have some hands-on with this ammo, any issues or concerns?

I've been through about a couple thousand rounds of it so far and no FTF's. The cases can be a bit gritty but can be wiped off very easily. Had maybe 2 or 3 that would not fully seat in the chamber. Ejected the round, wiped down the case and it loaded fine. I did find maybe 2-3 boxes of rounds must have been exposed to a bit of moisture - the base of the round were a bit corroded the the rest of the casing was fine. They still fed fine and fired off fine. When I run down my current stock, will definitely pick up more. Would be interested in chronograph results too.

I just ordered a crate of this stuff. In doing my due diligence before ordering I found a thread where a guy had run some of this ammo through his chrony. If I remember correctly it was averaging 850-860fps.

I can't find the thread, but when I find it I'll post it.

It does seem slower for sure. I'll run some thru my chrony on sat and see. You can almost see the bullet on its way to the target if you're watching someone else shooting it. I've had no feeding problems with it in my Hi-point and I've reloaded the cases a few times already as well. All in all I think it's good ammo for the money. I'm getting it for roughly $18ish a box

How would You compare it to the Federal American Eagle?
Also, does it make Your pistol very dirty?, that seems to be the biggest draw back that I hear about this ammo. so far, is it true?

Funny, to me it seems hotter then win or rem.

I have no data to back that thought up. It reliably cycles my kris, which S&B will not.

Either way, it goes bang and has enough FPS velocity that the paper cannot get out of the way in time!
