Anyone have any issues with this stuff?

I know people have had issues with the .223(not me mind you) ammo from them.

I ask because I am seriously considering the Ruger SR1911/1000rounds of ammo deal at CanAm. It makes that roughly 30 cents a round for brass cased, reloadable, fmj .45acp!!

But if its straight crap, I'll hold off.

['m on my third case and no more or less issues than any other brand (a touch dirtier thats all..seems that way anyway) and no issues with the brass I am on my third with some cases (testing for endurance)
Great for reloading too and the sr1911 is a fine piece at that price !! :)
Buy ...shoot ...enjoy :)

A guy was shooting it from what I think was a CZ97 the other evening at our IDPA practice. Every trigger pull resulted in a big BANG! and the ammo all worked well. He went on to say that he's been shooting the batch for a while and it's been just fine.

I put close to 2000 trough my River SR1911 no issues. Plus I do reload them, some cases already 4 times and still OK to reload. I have got probably 10 cases cracked after fire but no problem. I do recommend norc ammo

Good stuff, its actually a little hotter than others I find, and a little dirtier. Not one FTF. (feed or fire)

I've heard from others that they found it hotter, but I don't find it so.
It was chrono'ed at around 850fps, by a member. About the same as Blazers, and slower than many others.

Seems like more muzzle flash, don't think that necessarily means it is hotter (fps wise)

I like it it and use a lot of it as I have 20 plus 45 acp mouths to feed!

This thread spurred me to head off to the range today and use some Norinco ammo that I bought about a year ago....just to see for myself what the quality of the ammo is like. I was quite impressed with it. I ran about 350 through my HK45 without issue. No hotter than my reloads and more than accurate enough....perhaps a bit dirtier but not by much (I use 231). One thing I did notice, and it could be batch related, is that the odd one had lazy extraction which leads me to believe that some, I'd say about 5% or so, were not quite as hot. I didn't run any through a chrony to confirm though...and there were no drastic POI changes at a close 10-15 yards. All in all, from what I saw today I'd buy it again.
