Norinco .45ACP

Shipping companies no longer wish to transport ammunition from China.

Well that's unfortunate

Any other cheap .45ACP coming to Canada Ammo?
I found some stuff at the other guys going for 380-400 but I'd buy from Canada Ammo if I can, free shipping and dealt with them before.

yeah really glad I got it while the getting was good. now I can just reload thoise cases forever..

assuming powder stops being hens teeth at some point.

When I heard the rumours of supply drying up, etc, I "loaded" up.

I likely have enough 45 to last many years, and 45 is my most commonly used calibre (23 guns that use .45acp in my collection)

my advice? If we see cheap 45 again, buy it cheap, stack it deep!

Really better off to buy an inexpensive Lee progressive press, cast bullets by the bucket, and pick up all of the Norinco brass that others leave laying on the range.

Doing a rough calculation, using CanAm primers, titegroup powder, and commercial cast bullets I can reload 45ACP for about $140/k. I put in a number of hours off and on over a weekend and I've put down 2000 rounds, which last me months.

Put a few thousand rounds down and you've paid for your equipment. After that you can shoot and shoot 45acp knowing you're paying less for your ammo than that guy buying bulk 9mm does.

It's a good feeling.
