Hi Everyone,

Just wondering with all this Norinco ammo out there which one is the best? I see some people referencing 5.56 vs 223. I will be using this ammo with a AR and hoping that it is somewhat accurate/reliable?

Thank You
T

There have been plenty of threads about norinco ammo. It doesn't sound like you will get reliable or accurate if you go with norinco.
I won't run it in my rifles.

I havn't had any problems with my ammo, shoots pretty straight. The odd round will stray a few inches, but for $.23 a round I am ok with that.

Norc 5.56 is supposed to be M193 spec ammo so it is hotter than .223. I have never had an issue with the stuff and the brass is quite decent for reloading. Don't listen to the ammo snobs.

If you can find some get it ASAP because what is here is all there's going to be for now. fingers crossed canam can find a new company to ship it.

I have shot ~2000 rounds of norinco with an acog on an AR, I would say the stuff is reliable enough to shoot groupings with. I think I've had 2 stovepipes, and 1 dry fire in all those rounds. Brass is excellent for reloading (except I can't reload it for less than the price of it new)

Totally agree

I may pick up the brass from my last case (if the shipping issue doesn't get resolved) but that's a fair way down the track from now
