Norinco 5.56 and xrcl

I bought a surplus crate about year ago and just started shooting it recently. so far i've fired about 500 rounds out of my bushmaster ar-15. I find 1 out of about every 30 rounds doesn't fire when I pull the trigger. When I manually eject it there is an obvious mark on the primer from the firing pin, but no boom. If its just for plinking, shooting gophers, etc I would recommend buying a crate because of the price. However if you're shooting in competition matches or plan to use it in a 'live or die' situation, if one ever arises, I would stick with name brand. Just my two cents on norinco 223.

I'm on I'd say my 8-9 crate of 1600rnds of 5.56 norc. I swear to god I haven't had one light pstrike, every failure I've had has been to do with mag issues or me screwing around with gas settings. This ammo feeds perfect in my xcr-l, tar-21,acr, norkM4, and type97. I honestly couldn't comment on groupings I'm sure it's not as good as American eagle stuff, but it bangs steel pretty decent at 50ft haha
Its groups around 2.5" out of my r700 that will do 1/2" with handloads. So its not great and ive also had a few duds but il save them and reaload them with good primers.
And i hate to tell you this but your a little late and it might be hard to find some as they aren't importing it anymore.

My personal view on this is I spend $2300 on a rifle there for I only run American brand name ammo through it. I know guys aren't having issues with norinco but I just can't do it haha
I have run norinco in my m305 and I'll run anything through my cz858 and sks, Its not that I oppose the ammo itself, just not in my xcr
