Norinco 7.62x51 (308) on sale.

Not sure if anyone posted already but I just bought a crate (1000rnds) of Norinco 7.62x51(308) for $499 (reg $599) at Target Sports.
Why did I buy it?…Because it's range safe at Target Sports and my SOCOM16 has been collecting dust

That's a good deal If buyin thru retail. I've only seen that price once at another retailer in 3 months of looking.
Privately u can find it for $ .40 - 50 cents a round but u gotta be patient and have time. I recently scored 360 rounds of hertenbergwr 308 for $200 and 100 rounds of norinco for $50.

I have noticed the prices mentioned above are pretty common on the EE. The trouble with retail outlets is the added cost of taxes and shipping. Most private sales are priced to save the buyer the expense of taxes and shipping. The trick is to find a private seller in your respective area. I'm selling my surplus 7.62x51 out of the Edmonton area.

I've seen great deals on EE but i also see norinco being sold for like 300$ for 500 rounds or
$250 for 360 of hertenberger. Those aren't deals at all, that's like retail. Why would anyone pay retail for a private sale :s
