NORINCO 7.62X51 for rfb?

I've looked on all the appropriate forums for information on issues of using steel cased ammo with the RFB, but I haven't found any hard evidence up to this point. I went as far as to call Kel-tec about the issue and was told that they were unaware of any reports of failures due to steel cased ammo, which makes me think it may be another unsubstantiated gun myth. I do however avoid steel cased ammo due to the coating used to keep the casings shiny, as it can gum up vital areas of your firearm and makes it harder to clean. The price for the Norinco ammo is pretty good, but you can get Federal .308 from Reliable Gun in Vancouver for the same price.
The Norc 308 that Can Am has is copper washed (sort of like a thin electroplate), it doesn't have the varnish problem that surplus Czech 7.62x39 has, it won't (can't) gum up your rifle. Back when we could get both Norc 7.62x39 surplus (copper washed) and AK47's I ran thousands of rounds of that ammo through an AK, without even the hint of residue.
I have had the best of luck with Norinco ammo in the past. I have sent thousands of 7.62x39 and .223 downrange with nary a problem. The .223 stuff was the most accurate round in one of my .223's. The .223 stuff also was great for reloading.
