hey CGN'ers iam aiming to buy a handgun, probably a norinco? Looking at the 9mm they have. An NP-22, NP-29, Np-85, Np-25 and Nz-75. If anyone has owned and shot these hand guns and has some positive info on them please share. Iam trying to get an affordable hand gun for CQB. Thanks Gun nuterz:D

I have an NP29. After doing a trriger job and replacing the barrel bushing the gun shoots real good. It is almost better than a shadow as it is slightly heaver so the recoil is different Can't beat it for the price

I've only put a few hundred rounds through my stock NP22 and has been reliable, and yeah, you can't beat the price especially for your first... there will be many more after the first... :-D

NP-34 gets my vote. Small, accurate and reliable.

Got the NP 29. Very good fit and finish, IMO, and very reliable.

Accuracy is good and trigger pull is much improved over the older models.

For a little over $400, taxed and shipped, it's an excellent buy.

Thanks for the replys. Now I just have to find a place that has them IN STOCK. :)lol... Just talked to SFRC and they willn't be getting the NP-22 or NP-29 in for acouple months...to bad they had free shipping and a $10 gift card with the NP-29 (wow). Was looking at BADGER ARMS but if i could find some place alittle more local.

Here's my NP-29 CQB gun. Only thing done to it was a trigger job and then I added some parts from an old IPSC gun I sold. Very accurate, and not one FTF or FTE. Original barrel bushing and slide lockup was nice and tight. I couldn't ask for better.

Checked out that site and they had acouple that they work on then sell them to you. An extra $100 roughly gets you a trigger job, tightned and tuned! I have never heard of these guys? Anyone bought one from them?

I have bought, sold, and traded with Gunnar more than a few times now. Great guy to deal with. Had two Norc 1911s tuned and a S&W 29 re-blued by Gunnar. All money well spent. Will be sending him my S&W 17 for re-blue once the 2012 summer shooting season is done.

P.S. Also, have a Gunnar tuned GSG. It's worth the extra $

Yah Iam still really interested in the NP-22 from armco but......Trombly's tackle box has the Ruger SR9 and SR9B 9mm for $479 and the Norinco M-1911 A1 and Cz85( knock off) for $349.99. To be honest I think they are both good handguns...hard choice!!!At least I will be able to hold them in my hand to see if i like it or not. Anyone have the SR9.

P.S. I heard that the L.G.R. is out yesterday......except for Quebec.lol
