Hi, I am new to the sport and I have the opportunity to buy a used Norinco M213 9mm with 500 pieces of once used brass. First are the guns good? I have shot a few hand guns, S&W, Glock, Colt, some old 22's but never a Norinco. Secondly what would be a good price for a used one?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Well, I dont know about used, But i bought mine NEW for $99. and since its 9mm, the brass is not worth anything really, you better off buying new factory ammo and keeping your brass.

Mind you they probable go for more now since that super low price special is no longer available. My wife likes it a lot more than my Glock!? but she has smaller hands.

My 2 cents.

It has a very small grip that fits well for small hands
It has an all steel construction . Very solid pistol
The finish os crude, but with small tweaks it becomes really good.
As for prices, at one point they were on a special sale going fo r 99$ but they were otherwise sold for 179Plus s&h. If it has the rubber grips or muzzlbrake, add another40-50 dollars for each.
Then the 500 only once fired brass is sold for 20-25$

Wow...$99? Where was I? I would have bought one in a few different calibers for that price and tried them out. It is so hard to find anywhere around here that has handguns you can even hold, let alone shoot. Where is the best place to find a new one at a good price?
I would also like a Ruger revolver with both 22lr and 22mag cylinders.
Thanks for the replies and for any more help anyone can offer.

I don't know where you can find one new for a good price. But I can tell you, no dealer will sell it for $99 unless it was canadaammo. Sold out long time ago. For only $99! I just ordered two from them, paid in full and asked them to hold until my RPAL arrives in the mail. Something got messed up and they likely sold what was suppose to go to me. I was not happy at the time.

Now looking back, no point feeling that way, they did me a favour. I have Sig P226 9mm as replacement (that'll buy me 12 M213s. haha). Fine handgun. Can't go wrong if you settle on 9mm as your main shooter but can't go wrong for $99 handgun either! The only Norc I have is a M4. I also have a S&W 629 6.5" on the way. :)
