No, but this is...

What about a Saiga...? It's not listed in OIC #13...

Yup, ANY AK variant.... and anything else that can kill babies and blow up the world with a single pull of the trigger... :runaway:

I was wondering if one could build a Velmet receiver.
This is all just academic since that would probably cost money.

Valmets were made by Valmet. The Valmet is specifically exempted.
If you were to make a compatible receiver, and tried to register it, dollars to donuts it would be classified as a prohibited AK variant.

Aks

We had some CGN members wanting this gun, so we brought in a crate.
The are pro hib 223- 5.56.
We have been aproched by a film company to bring them in to Canada, it is easy for a film company to buy this gun and point it at other people in the name of entertainment. Wow, and we have trouble using it at the range. What's up with that?

We have 3 left

You're selling these to individuals with 12(5) on their PAL? And they're newly imported?

Yea thats a given the government would never let us have anything that affordable and cool come on guys!

LOL

Thanx for the info...

What's really ironic, is the fact that from 50ft the average civilian would be hard pressed to differentiate between an AK-variant and a CZ858...

Wrong. The average civi thinks the VZ IS an AK. That banana mag is all it takes :) Only us gun nuts can tell the difference, which is plenty.
