Some folks are asking about whether or not the Norinco ammo we have for sale is corrosive, so we tested it.

As we knew, it is not.

The bare steel is a control, the rusty nail is Czech surplus, known to be corrosive. Test time is about 5 days.

the 7.62x51 norinco green box is extremely NON CORROSIVE and seems to behave the same way as any commercial north american ammo in my experience.

Is this Norinco ammo something that you will be stocking on a regular basis? I cant afford a case right now and I am hoping that I dont miss the bus.

I just read another post saying firing NC rounds after corrosive ammo then you don't have to clean your SKS.

What do you think?

brass casing 7.62x39 for reloading would be great.

Are you sure it's brass. Tons of steel. Brass stuff is expensive, used by reloader all of which keep their brass.
Get your hands on some s&b 7.62x39. It is in brass casings if you wanna reload it. I found a ton of it at the range myself :)

I just received my full case of 7.62x39. Can never have enough of this stuff. It came in a very nice wooden crate with handles on the sides. The surprise was seeing that it came from Saudi Arabia. Did they use SKS's at one time or have AK's in 7.62x39? I've always wanted some Saudi ammo.:ar15:
