Norinco Ammo from Canada Ammo

Hi --

I just bought an M305 shorty rifle and a case of 7.62x51 Norinco ammo from Canada Ammo. Does anyone know if this was surplus ammo or new production?

I have fired 60 rounds so far with no problems.

Canada Ammo is out of stock -- who else in Canada might stock this product.

I can only assume surplus judging by the fancy wooden crates. And they are only Out Of Stock by the crate, you can still buy single boxes if you'd like (and heck, buy 9 of them to make $100 for free shipping)

If I recall correctly, it was "new surplus," brass cased, and reloadable.
