They meet most M193 specs, accept for the primer crimp. Should easily meet SAAMI spec as well

The Tavor owner's manual states that using ammo that does not meet NATO or SAAMI specifications will void the warranty. But so will handloads! I'm not even sure what the NATO/SAAMI specs are for ammo. Dimensions, propellant properties, chamber pressure, etc?

SAAMI standards include fire code, dimensions of ammo and chamber as well as safe chamber pressures. Propellant properties is handled by the powder manufacturer. IIRC

The only NATO ball ammo spec for 5.56 x 45mm is SS109, isn't it? I don't think Norinco even makes a steel cored, 62 grain bullet.

I would expect it meets SAAMI.
