Norinco AR 15 or S&W AR 15?

I've got the norc, it's been flawless for me.
but if the S & W's were the price they are now at that time I'd have gotten the smith.

since both are really close in price right now i would say go for the S&W. It would be in-spec and a whole lot easier to work with when do modifcations. the norc is reliable and you can get them in 14.5" where as the s&w only comes in 16". also the norc you can get used for as low as $500.

I own two Norcs, work great,,, but if the S&W had been as cheap as they are now that is without a doubt what I would own, buy the S&W for sure

My norc is great but at current prices it's not even in the same league as the Smith in fit and finish

S&W. Out of the box with the flip ups I can shoot a 200 yard gong standing without issues. Love mine. Fantastic as is.

The Norc is fine, but if the $ is the same the S&W is finished better, aftermarket parts will actually fit, and they're made in the States. Can't take the Norinco to the States for competitions or the like if that is a consideration for you.

Lol, a Newby to AR's may not know a lot about different brands and build quality, a valid question when someone is learning,,, from the replies I'm sure he has figured out the S&W is a better deal
