Norinco AR15 feeding help

Don't know if it's a feeding or ejecting problem but my buddy has a norinco AR15 that keeps feeding a bullet in before the other shell ejects so they both get jammed up in the barrel extension dose any one have a idea what would couse this it seems to be getting worse

Extractor? Have him take a look at the extractor. Is it broken? Is there debris under the hook?

Extractor.

Put a extractor buffer and call it a day. You can buy a upgrade kit for like 20$. Seems like a common issue with the Norc AR15's Ive seen it alot and all fixed by simple extractor buffer.

x2 on extractor. Tell your buddy to clean the snot out of it, if he hasn't already. Stupid question, but the BCG is correctly assembled, right?

Yes bcg is assembled correctly

Money on the extractor and lack of a buffer and making it OVER extend ( opening up due to the recoil,loosing the case). Not because its dirty because guns can go 1000's rds w/o cleaning and not have a issue.

put one round in the magazine, chamber it and fire. does the bolt get caught by the bolt catch?
