That's the Norinco Type 86s, which is the bullpupped version of Type 56.

There is a movie from Hong Kong, Option Zero, where the Korean terrorists uses the Type 86s at the climax.

The duck's bill is one variation you don't see often. Imagine Donald Duck puckering up to kiss whoever.

I think it's made for chopping kind of work at short range
like clearing buildings, hosing down rooms, #### like that.
Look at the very short sight radius,
which is only the lenght of the carry handle.

PS: Deckard , maybe you can give more detailed info, please.

I do you a flavor and semi-translate a page from DBOY's Gun World:

http://www.gun-world.net/china/norinco-ex/86s.htm

As the rumor suggests, the Type 86s is originally one of the prototypes that was created by a series of bullpup firearm experimentations. It was then further developed by NORINCO, and was designed for export. Because of its unorthadox appearance, many has mistooked the 86s as a new design. It is, however, merely a bullpuppized version of the Type 56 sub-machine gun(AK47 clone), even their performances and characteristics are nearly idenical-except the 86s is semi-auto only.

Both 86s and Type 56 have a barrel of same length, but 86s is much shorter due to the 86s's bullpup layout; even with the bayonet fixed, it is still 211mm shoter than the Type 56 with its bayonet folded. The cocking handle, located on top of receiver and protected a carrying handlewith built-in iron sights, was inspired by the FAMAS and can be operated by either hands. It also featured a foldable forward grip for added controllability, which can be used as a monopod for extra support when fired from the prone position. Two type of magazine was offered: one has a 20 rounds capacity, another is the ubiquitous 30 rounders.

Calibre: 7.62x39mm
Total Length: 663 mm
barrel Length: 415 mm
Muzzle Velocity: 710 m/s
Magazine Capacity: 20/30 rds
Effective Range: 400 m
Weigtht 3.6 kg Empty

Nothing......it is not a true bullpuppy. It is just an AK with a bullpup stock(which is prohib).

In case if you are wondering, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the QBZ-95 currently in PLA service.

I realize that. I recognized the AK right away.
Still cool IMO. Very cool.

butt looks too slick - will be horribly uncomfortable holding that thing against your shoulder. Bullpups are butt heavy and the one like this needs highly curved butt that sits on top of your shuolder rather then pressed against it. With pistol grip being so far forward I do not understand how can it be balanced in your hands at all. Ugly piece, you guys go ahead, drool all you want - I will pass.

I'm a pretty tolerant guy, but that thing is so ####ing ugly it's designer should be beaten with one.

Ugh!!!
