Can anyone give me an idea on price? It is the JW103 model I believe. Its 7.62x39 and there are no open sights on the barrel. And yes I realize that they were not made that well, but it was a fun trg tool for my family and they are ready to upgrade.
Thanks

I have one, and it has sights. It's stamped "Bisley" on the barrel, as if that's supposed to make it more accurate.
Bore slugs to .315", way oversize for the X39.
Still shoots milsurp, but not any more accurately than my SKS.
For the price, you might be better off with the Ruger bolt action, or something of a higher quality.
Unless you get lucky and find one that's a good shooter.

I realize you are asking about a JW-103 in 7.62x39. I have a JW-105, .223. 22" barrel. It shoots just fine. I took it out to my friend's place and we sighted it in with Chinese ammo, either no name or Norinco. He is a real fussy shooter, has high end rifles, and even he was impressed. It isn't much to look at, but is a nice little rifle to shoot.

I would have tried a 103 as well, but when the urge struck, none were readily available so I bought a Zastava instead.

Now that I've said that, I shall have to dig it out of the pile and give it a run.
